Vusta® Luxury Vinyl Flooring
Installation Guidelines
Before installation:
- Subfloor must be below 70% Relative Humidity prior to laying and if under floor heating is being used it must be heated for 7-14 days prior to laying and checked that it is below the required relative humidity prior to installing
- All contaminants such as lacquer, paint etc must be thoroughly removed from the subfloor prior to installation
- The subfloor must be clean, even and free from imperfections
- Any visible cracks must be repaired prior to installation
- Temperature of the installation area must be kept constant for at least 24 hours prior to installation with the materials on site
During installation:
- Turn off any under floor heating a minimum 3 hours prior to starting
- Remove any adhesive from the surface of the vinyl immediately
After installation:
- Roll the floor with a min 50Kg roller after installation (if using Vusta WP20 Pressure Sensitive Adhesive)
- Do not turn on any under floor heating for at least 48 hours after installation
- Do not put any furniture on the floor for 24 hours to allow it to cure fully
- Only maintain with the recommended Vusta cleaning materials
